Cobra Kai Never Lies is about movies, television, comic books, music, games, collectibles and whatever else I can’t stop thinking about that day.
Some of it’s serious. Some of it’s ridiculous. Most of it’s probably both.
The point isn’t to cover everything. It’s to talk about the things that actually interest me without pretending every new trailer, casting rumor or action figure deserves the same amount of attention.
HERE’S THE DEAL.
I’ve spent most of my life watching, reading, playing, listening to and collecting this stuff.
That doesn’t mean I automatically love all of it.
I’m not interested in agreeing with the popular opinion just because it’s popular. I’m also not going to hate something because the internet decided I’m supposed to.
I’ll tell you when something works for me. I’ll tell you when it doesn’t. I’ll probably swear somewhere in the middle.
That’s the deal.
IT’S BEEN FORGED INTO MY DNA.
A movie isn’t always just a movie. A song can drag you back twenty years before the first chorus ends. A figure on a shelf can remind you exactly why you liked that character in the first place.
People call them collections.
I usually call them a reason to buy another shelf.
Sometimes there’s a real story behind something. Sometimes it’s just a Lego Wolverine I found in a parking lot that looked like it needed a home.
Both count.
WHERE DO YOU WANT TO START?
There are reviews, rants, news stories, one-word Headshots, songs I think you should hear and collectibles I’ve busted out of their boxes.
You don’t have to agree with me. That would get boring fast.
You just have to understand that nothing here is written by committee, copied from a press release or shaped around whatever opinion is getting the most attention that week.
This is the stuff I like talking about.
