THANOS’ INFINITY GAUNTLET IS HEADED TO AUCTION. GOT $25 MILLION?

By Peter David · October 26, 2026 · Cobra Kai Never Lies

A one-of-a-kind Infinity Gauntlet loaded with genuine gemstones is heading to auction in December. It even comes with Jim Starlin's signature. Better start checking those bank accounts.

Julien's Auctions is putting the ultimate Marvel collectible up for sale on December 8 in Abu Dhabi. It's a one-of-a-kind replica of Thanos' Infinity Gauntlet, complete with six genuine gemstones weighing more than 170 carats combined. This thing stands nearly 20 inches tall, and your average Infinity Gauntlet toy might have a little trouble competing with it.

Created by East Continental Gems with Marvel and Disney's approval, the Gauntlet was built using the actual design files from the movie prop. The Infinity Stones are represented by a ruby, garnet, sapphire, amethyst, emerald and yellow diamond. The emerald alone was discovered more than a century ago and sat in the jeweler's collection for over 30 years before finding its way onto Thanos' hand.

The Gauntlet originally debuted at San Diego Comic-Con in 2022 with an asking price of $25 million. Julien's hasn't publicly announced an estimate for the upcoming auction, so that original price isn't necessarily what somebody will end up paying. Remember when that original Iron Man artwork sold for $3.875 million? Collecting Marvel memorabilia has seemed to become a hobby for people with considerably larger bank accountants than mine.

Whoever wins the auction will also receive the original presentation case, gemstone certifications and a certificate of authenticity signed by Jim Starlin, the man behind Marvel's original Infinity Gauntlet storyline. You'll even need approval from Julien's just to bid on the thing, which probably rules out most of us before we get anywhere near a bidding paddle.

Here's the part that's a little close to my heart. The auction is happening on December 8, which just happens to be my birthday. So, if anybody is wondering what to get me this year, I've made things pretty easy for you.

You might want to go in together on this one, it'll be cheaper for everyone that way!
